Forms & Gears, a member of the ASM Technologies Group, has bagged the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Industrial Innovation Award 2020.
The award has been won by Forms & Gears under the ‘Top 25 Most Innovative Companies’ category for its smart fixture device, SmartFix4.0.
According to Reji Varghese, Managing Director, Forms & Gears, “At Forms & Gears, we have built fixtures that helped our clients, foster innovation, increase productivity and save costs for more than four decades now.”
He added that the award signifies the indispensable role of fixture building companies on the modern-day shop floor. Smart fixtures, in particular, have the potential to catalyze the next revolution in the digitalization journey of manufacturers.

Virtual ceremony
The awards were announced recently in a virtual ceremony hosted by CII during the India–Portugal Technology Summit.
During the event, the apex industry body felicitated top 25 companies across large, medium and small segments for their innovation prowess.
