Bosch Car Service’s (BCS) one of the largest facilities was inaugurated in Panchkula, as part of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket’s workshop chain network expansion drive.
Anjan Kumar, Regional President – Automotive Aftermarket, Bosch India inaugurated the workshop on Monday, 18 January 2021.
Speaking on the occasion, he said, “We welcome Mr. Sunil Goyal and his energetic team to our growing family of Bosch Car Service and take pleasure in inaugurating this world-class facility which brings us closer to the car owners in the Tri-City.”
He further said that Bosch Car Service is well-positioned as the best alternative to the car workshops in India by offering customers a superlative experience of car service.
“With diagnostics and high-end workshop efficiency tools, we are certain that the customers would be overwhelmed with a superior customer experience in this facility,” he added.
The multi-brand car service concept from Bosch, with a global presence spanning 100 years, currently has about 250 service touchpoints across India.
In partnership with Speed Links, this multi-brand service concept joins the world’s largest workshop network with a global footprint of more than 15000 workshops across 150 nations.
Catering to the the need created by increasing customer demands for quality service and genuine parts for mass brands and premium segment cars, technologically advanced products, growing pre-owned car sales and the number of cars running on Indian roads out of the OE warranty, Bosch Automotive Aftermarket Division, after adding 100 workshops to its network, further plans to expand its network count by targeting significant growth in 2021 and beyond, thereby continuing the remarkable success story of Bosch Car Service in India.
All about Panchkula workshop
Located strategically in the automotive hub of Panchkula and the vicinity of many car dealership workshops, the Bosch Car Service outlet caters to the requirements of customers in the adjoining cities of Chandigarh and Mohali in the Tri-City. The workshop facility sprawls across an area of approximately 36,000 sq. ft with about 40 bays for multi-brand car service.
The range of services include periodic maintenance, suspension system, AC diagnostics and service, ECU diagnostics, brake service, clutch overhaul, aggregate repairs, body repairs and painting, wheel balancing, tyre service, car wash and car detailing.
Equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and the latest Bosch diagnostic equipment such as the KTS (ECU diagnostic scanner with ESI software for vehicle diagnosis), the workshop operates with a manpower capacity of 28 people and with a capacity to service more than 45 cars in a day.
These services along with value-adds such as road-side assistance, pick, and drop services, cashless insurance repair in a body shop and renewal of insurance, annual service maintenance plan, etc. offer vehicle owners a one-stop-shop.
