Nissan Magnite B-SUVBuilt on the philosophy of ‘Make in India, Make for the World’, the recently unveiled  all-new Nissan Magnite B-SUV drives big on technology.

Nissan India claims this as its first ever product under the Nissan NEXT strategy for the Indian market, scheduled to be introduced in the second half of the financial year 2020-21.

Technological features

The vehicle has Nissan Connect with 8-inch full flash touch screen with wireless Android Auto & Apple Carplay that can be  compatible with latest devices. It also has 6 Speakers. Microphone and speakers are carefully placed for better phone calls.

According to Sinan Ozkok, President, Nissan Motor India, “The all-new Nissan Magnite is a testimony to Nissan’s global SUV DNA of relentless innovation, advanced technology, and Japanese engineering.”

The new vehicle has First-in-class Around View Monitor (AVM) to provide a bird’s eye view – toggle between rear view, bird’s eye view and RH camera for eased parallel, perpendicular parking and front camera for taking out from tight spots.

The car also come with full 7-inch TFT instrument cluster with built-in tyre pressure monitor and First-in-class ‘welcome animation’.

Toggle the menu and up/down buttons for all functions are also avilabel and it has fully integrated steering wheel controls for audio, cluster and Cruise Control.

Safety First

In addition, other features include Hill Start Assist for comfortable stop and go in slopes and hilly terrains, raction Control for best vehicle control in different terrains, Anti-lock Braking System  with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Anti-Roll bar for tight cornering at high speeds giving low body roll and SRS dual airbags

It showcases latest technology as a part of Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM), the company’s vision as to how vehicles are powered, driven, and integrated into society.

It is fitted with all-new HRA0 1.0-liter Turbo engine that is said to be the first of its kind in the country and is available with Manual 5 speed and X-TRONIC CVT gearbox.
