Maxiss tyreMaxxis India has announced the launch of Maxxis M922F, an exclusive range of electric two-wheeler tyres for Indian vehicles.

According to the tyre maker, the M922F tubeless tyres work ‘perfectly’ with 12-inch-tyre electric two-wheeler models.

Made with specialised compound technology, M922F range of tyres are light in weight and brings down fuel consumption by 5-10 per cent. This would improve the operational range of an electric two-wheeler.

‘Unconditional warranty’

M922F is backed by 5+1 ‘unconditional warranty’. This is a no-questions-asked offer that applies to all unserviceable and unrepairable tyres, the company said.

Maxxis India Marketing Head Bing-Lin Wu said, “This is our first step towards contributing to the Government of India’s Clean India Mission. We are extremely glad to have launched these unique tyres especially crafted for the electric two-wheelers in the Indian market.”

He said the electric two-wheeler industry is growing and will witness tremendous growth in the next few years. Maxxis is a world leader in producing tyres for the alternate fuel vehicle technology, he said.

Wu added: “With our specialised technical know-how, we feel that these tyres will be best suited for Indian topography.”

The tread has circumferential grooves as well as lateral ones that work together to offer a great grip to motorists. The ride is smooth on both well paved road and wet terrain. The tyres, with a larger contact patch, last longer, as tread wear is minimised to a break extent.
