ServicePlugBangalore-based start-up ServicePlug is building automotive-focused digital ecosystem designed to connect the different stakeholders of the automotive aftermarket and make automotive products, services, information, and opportunities more accessible.

With 15,000+ automobile aftermarket experts already onboarded, ServicePlug is building a growing network of automotive workshops, mechanics, retailers, distributors, dealers, and other professionals, says P Shreedhar, Co-Founder of ServicePlug.

The platform aims to help users discover trusted local automotive experts while creating new digital opportunities for businesses to connect with customers and expand their reach, he adds.

B2B Marketplace

The company’s B2B Marketplace is designed to digitally connect different levels of the automotive supply chain in the automotive aftermarket sector.

The platform eyes to bring together OEMs, distributors, retailers, workshops, and other automotive businesses, creating opportunities for businesses to discover products, develop partnerships, and improve access to the aftermarket supply network.

EV Focus

In line with the current EV trend,  the company  is building an Electric Vehicles Marketplace to help consumers discover electric mobility options while creating a digital platform for EV brands and businesses to showcase their products and services.

With the demand for affordable and reliable pre-owned vehicles continuing to grow, ServicePlug aims to make the pre-owned vehicle buying and selling journey more accessible by bringing listings and automotive businesses together within its wider ecosystem.

It  is also developing a digital marketplace for aftermarket oils, parts, and accessories, connecting automotive businesses and consumers with products required for vehicle maintenance and ownership.

Community-Driven Road Accident Alert System

One of ServicePlug’s community-focused initiatives is its ServicePlug Accident Alert, a technology-driven system designed to support faster communication during road emergencies.

Vehicle owners can register their vehicle details and add emergency contacts. When another ServicePlug  user witnesses a road accident, they can report the incident using the vehicle registration number. The system can capture the reported location and time, allow the user to upload a short accident video, and share the information with the registered emergency contacts.

The concept is built around a simple idea: “Your Vehicle Registration Number Can Become Your Emergency Contact Identity, Shreedhar explained.

By connecting vehicle owners, community members, and emergency contacts, ServicePlug® aims to reduce communication delays following road accidents and encourage citizens to become active participants in road safety.

The initiative represents an example of how an automotive digital platform can go beyond commerce and services to support wider social and community needs.
