Tata PowerTata Power, one of India’s leading EV charging network commissioned a 60 kW DC Fast Charging Station in Coorg at Sri Krishna Cafe, Bannikuppe, strategically located along the Mysore–Madikeri Highway (NH-275).

The station provides a convenient high-speed charging stop for EV travellers heading towards Coorg, enabling them to recharge before continuing their journey into the hilly regions of Kodagu.

Located on NH-275 at Bannikuppe, Hunsur, the charging station serves as a convenient stop for EV users travelling between Bengaluru, Mysuru, and Coorg. Its location helps improve charging accessibility along a key tourism and commercial corridor in Karnataka.

High-Speed Charging

The station is equipped with a 60 kW DC dual-gun CCS2 charger, capable of charging compatible electric vehicles from 20% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes, reducing charging time during long-distance journeys.

Convenient Charging Experience

Located at Sri Krishna Cafe, the charging station enables travellers to take a short break while their vehicles recharge, with access to food, refreshments, and basic traveller amenities.

Seamless Digital Access

The charger is integrated with the Tata Power EZ Charge ecosystem, allowing users to locate the station, monitor charger availability, initiate charging sessions, and make cashless payments through the Tata Power EZ Charge mobile application or RFID cards.

Supporting Sustainable Mobility

The addition of this charging station further strengthens the EV charging network along the Bengaluru–Mysuru–Coorg corridor, improving charging accessibility for electric vehicle users travelling to one of Karnataka’s key tourism destinations while supporting the wider adoption of electric mobility.
