Tata Motors launches own oil brand for its Commercial Vehicles in India

Multi-purpose oils are formulated and tested for Tata Motors vehicles

Indian commercial vehicle giant Tata Motors has launched its own oil brand ‘Tata Motors Genuine Oil’ exclusively for its Commercial Vehicles range in the Indian Market.                 

This range of multi-purpose oils are suitable for the new generation engines and other aggregates, encouraging the company’s customers to use the right oil for their vehicles.

The branded product portfolio includes high performing engine oils, gear oils and rear axle oil for commercial vehicles range from Tata Motors in both on-road and off-road segment.

Tata Motors Genuine Oils are sold to the customers through 1400 CVBU-authorized workshops.

R Ramakrishnan, Senior Vice-President, Customer Care, CVBU, Tata Motors, said, ” Launched in four variants, Tata Motors Genuine Oil is specially formulated for our new generation engines to enhance the performance of the vehicle.”

Tata Motors Genuine engine oil CI4+ 15W40 & CH4 15W40 is priced at Rs 185 per litre . This is suitable for mixed fleet operations while gear oil 80W90 LL will be sold at Rs 210 per litre. This will cater to the needs of new generation synchromesh transmission performing under rugged terrains with extended oil intervals.

Tata Motors Genuine rear axle oil 80W140 LL is priced at Rs 240 per litre and it is a heavy duty multi grade oil especially formulated with extended oil drain intervals for axels performing under tough circumstances with higher operating temperatures.
