Piaggio India, a subsidiary of European two-wheeler giant, began its successful journey in 2018 with the inauguration of its fifth premium retail concept store Motoplex in the South Indian city – Bangalore.
Motoplex is the one stop lifestyle store for Piaggio’s two wheeler brands – Vespa, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi.
Diego Graffi, CEO and Managing Director of Piaggio Vehicles and Ashish Yakhmi, Head of Two-Wheelers, Piaggio Vehicles, have inaugurated the new outlet in a sprawling space of 8,000 sq ft at KMJ AVEN in Marathahalli are in Bangalore.
Commenting on the new store, Diego Graffi, said “The Motoplex is an innovative concept and we are proud to bring our flagship store to Bengaluru. Through the Motoplex, we aim to provide our patrons with an exciting overview of our Italian heritage and diverse product range. With the launch of the new Motoplex, we aim to further strengthen our growth in South India, a strategic two- wheeler market.”
After Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi, Graffi said it is a logical move to bring this concept store to Bengaluru.

PVPL commenced its India operations in 1999, with the launch of the Apé, which became India’s favourite three-wheeler brand in a short span of time.
