SWITCH Mobility gets 650 electric bus order from Sai Green Projects for deployments in Mumbai & Pune

The order will support public transport deployments across Mumbai and Pune under the Government of India’s PM E-Drive Phase II Tender.

Hinduja Group owned electric bus maker SWITCH Mobility has secured an order for 650 electric buses from Sai Green Projects Pvt. Ltd.

As part of the order, SWITCH Mobility will supply 9m electric buses under the CESL PM E-Drive Phase II tender, secured by Sai Green Projects Pvt. Ltd. as the selected operator. These AC and Non-AC buses will serve Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) and Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) respectively. The collaboration is a major step in the transition towards cleaner and more sustainable public transportation in two of Maharashtra’s largest urban centres.
