India is witnessing e-rickshaw revolution as the country recorded bumper sales of 56,999 vehicles both in passenger and goods categories in November 2025. This translates to one vehicle sold in every 8 minutes (7.5 minutes to be precise),

A data from Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) says total passenger e-rickshaw sales stood at 48,839 vehicles in November 2025, up by 20.98% from 40,369 units sold in the same month a year ago.

Goods carrying e-rickshaw with cart sales recorded at 8,160 vehicles, an year-on-year increase of 20.98% from 5,425 units recorded during the same period.

During the previous month of October 2024, e-rickshaw passenger vehicle sales stood at 17,117 units while that of vehicle with cart for goods recorded 6,979 unit sales.
